Safety showers for hot climates by FSP-Tech® are engineered for regions where elevated ambient temperatures can cause supply lines and fittings to overheat. They comply with the requirements of DIN EN 15154-1 and feature a self-draining design that prevents residual water from remaining inside the standpipe. Activation is performed via a foot pedal, which opens a full-flow, non-self-closing valve. A vandal-resistant high-performance shower head with large nozzle openings ensures a uniform spray pattern. Depending on the model, a bowl-type eye shower can be integrated. The inlet pipework can be equipped with scald protection to prevent excessively hot water from reaching the user.
Safety showers for hot climates are used in environments where supply lines are exposed to direct sunlight or where high temperature fluctuations occur. Typical application areas include refineries, petrochemical plants, tank farms, port facilities, and large outdoor industrial areas, where reliable first aid must be ensured under extreme conditions. They are particularly suitable for locations where thermal stress and hygiene risks caused by stagnant water must be avoided.
