For electrical installations this is the <\/span><b>second of the five safety rules<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and the same logic applies to mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic energies. LoTo only takes effect when the equipment and the procedure match. <\/span><b>Safety as a system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> therefore does not mean a single padlock, but a procedure that can be followed and verified.
