The FSP-Tech® product range for workplace safety covers two areas. As a second-generation family business, we have been manufacturing safety showers and safety solutions in Germany for more than 30 years. With Lockout/Tagout (LoTo), a second layer is added: securing energy sources before work on an installation begins.
Workplace safety at an industrial installation applies at two points. Lockout/Tagout takes effect before the work starts: the energy supply is interrupted and the isolation point is secured against unintended re-energization for as long as people are working in the hazard area. Safety showers take effect afterward, when contact with hazardous substances occurs despite organizational and technical measures. Both layers belong in the same planning process because they cover different stages of the same operation. The best safety shower is the one that is never needed.
Body showers and eye wash units rinse skin and eyes immediately after contact with hazardous substances and limit the exposure time. As a manufacturer, we produce in Germany in accordance with the standards applicable to the respective design, in stainless steel and engineered for continuous industrial use. The range covers permanently installed units as well as designs for frost, high ambient temperatures, and locations without an on-site water connection. Custom designs to project requirements are available.
LoTo prevents an installation from being re-energized during maintenance, servicing, or fault clearance. Each lockout is assigned to the person working in the hazard area and stays in place until that person removes it. FSP-Tech® supplies the equipment for the technical implementation, from securing individual energy isolation points to organizing and labeling the equipment on site.
FSP-Tech® self-closing safety gates secure open access points at platforms, working levels, and walkways where a risk of falling exists. They can be retrofitted to existing guardrails, which matters in older installations without continuous fall protection. The gate is made of stainless steel, closes automatically after every passage without locking, and therefore meets the requirements of DIN EN ISO 14122-3 for gates in guardrail openings. The passage width is adjustable and the mounting kit for round tubes is included in the delivery.
Every site is built and organized differently. The selection therefore starts with your risk assessment. We go through it with you, match the findings to the suitable solutions, and put together a system that holds up in daily operation.
